Trying to break 100 is the goal no matter what course he sets foot on (mostly Muni's). Some days he shows flashes of brilliance and other days he's a Led Zeppelin. But as a highly relatable golfer, Ryan reminds us that it's all about going out there and having fun while trying to post a great score. Proven to flag down the cart girls and take down a few John Daly's in the process.
Reading bits from Penick's Little Red Book... doing the bull dance, feeling the flow... as Kevin Nealon from Happy Gilmore said best. Always working on trying to keep it cool, calm, and collective out there. It's a constant process to work on with plenty of field material to examine.
With the help of Zach, Brendan, and countless others he plays golf with, Ryan hopes to improve his game to where he is regularly shooting in the 80's. We will certainly be documenting this journey along the way. A true student of #GoodLiesGolf.

He’s a Georgia-born southern boy, but not a southern gentleman. Brendan and his wife have been married since 2017. One of her favorite things about him is when he leaves her alone with their two kids while he plays whack-f**k with the boys for most of the day. But what’s a man supposed to do when he lives in Cincinnati and his only sources of entertainment are golfing, going to a brewery, or finding a good stick to poke stuff with? Anyways, we digress.
When Brendan isn’t wiping his kids’ asses, you can usually find him in one of two places: on the couch watching golf, or on the course playing golf. Those who are closest to Brendan might say he is a man of few words... but there's a few exceptions to his brevity, and most of those have to do with sports.
Throughout Brendan’s youth, he played them all. He’s in his 30s now, and since he’s balding and has the body of a 70 year old with fibromyalgia, he has pretty exclusively turned to golf. Brendan can talk all day about sports, and he intends to do that on #GoodLiesGolf.
